Team Comes Together to Push Through Pandemic and Serve Clients
The Center’s Health Services have remained open throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and will continue to be as the global health crisis inexorably heads toward the two-year mark.
“It’s been a call to action during a pandemic,” explains Eric Rodriguez, who oversees a team of clinic liaisons. “Patient care doesn’t stop. We can equate this to what happened in the 1980s and 90s with HIV and AIDS. You have to step up and be there for your community. It’s kind of a make-or-break situation, and we just have to keep going.”
The dedicated staff shares how they have managed to keep serving the public without interruption.
