Pic of the week: We've got a gorgeous addition to our west-facing wall as part of Visit Philly's #SisterlyLove Project: a portrait of queer photographer and cancer activist Tara Lessard. Per artist @TapedOffTV, "Camera always in hand, Tara captured and painstakingly documented over a decade of our community's history." Come take a look!

TMAN: Letter to My Younger Self

Sunday, March 15, 2-3:30pm
William Way, Arcila Adams Trans Resource Center
RSVP on Facebook

We all have times in our past which are memorable for being painful and difficult. What if you could go back in time and show that past version of yourself the love and empathy you needed during those hard times? What if you could give your past self the advice you needed back then?

With no time machine on hand, the next best thing is to write a letter to your past self. Writing this letter might sound like an ineffective way to heal your mental wounds, but it can actually be highly therapeutic. It can help you gain clarity, closure and a peace of mind. It can also help you forgive yourself and others

TMAN IS AN INTENTIONALLY CLOSED SPACE CREATED FOR AND BY TRANS MEN OF COLOR, FTM'S OF COLOR, TRANSMASCULINE PPL OF COLOR AND BLACK & BROWN MEN OF TRANS EXPERIENCE, INCLUDING THOSE WHO LIVE STEALTH.
