Green is powerful, the potent energy of the egg or the sprout, pushing to be, up through the soil, stretching out new wings. Balance is the equinox, equal night and day. The sun passing across the equator, the planet rotating through the routes of ancient places. The ancient and evolved. The beginning of being. Life is ours now. We push away the debris of winter, finding foot in movement for tomorrow. " Liz Walsh lives and works in Los Angeles, CA. Inspired by the plant life and city sprawl of California, Liz's practice is focused on the mix between technology and the entropy of the natural world. Liz received an MFA in Painting from CCAC, and a BFA in Painting from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She has attended the Headlands Center of the Arts residency as well as a residency at Cooper Union in NYC. more info: http://www.liziz.com/inquiries: Ilona Berger: info@lastprojects.org
