Governor's tree lighting ceremony streaming live tomorrow Governor Gavin Newsom and First Partner Jennifer Siebel Newsom will host the 88th Annual California State Capitol Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Thursday, December 5 at 5 p.m. The celebration will feature diverse cultural performances from artists representing cities statewide. The ceremony will take place on the Capitol West Steps and is open to the public. For those interested in watching from home, the event will be streamed live on the California Governor Facebook page.
