NEA report explores Folk & Traditional Arts Program's impact
A new report by the National Endowment for the Arts, Living Traditions, is the first analysis of the agency's Folk & Traditional Arts Program portfolio. The report highlights the program's geographic reach, its capacity to address historically underserved populations, and the activities and achievements of its grantees and partners.
Council meeting - Dec. 5 in Oceanside
The California Arts Council will hold its final business meeting of 2019 in Oceanside on December 5 at the Oceanside Public Library. The public is invited to attend and to address the Council during the public comment periods. A detailed meeting agenda will be posted at this link by the close of the business day on November 25.
Council meetings are open to the public and are held in physically accessible spaces in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). If you need additional accommodations or require language assistance, please make your request no later than five (5) business days before the meeting. Wildfire & power shutoff extension requests due Nov. 18
In response to the statewide emergency, the California Arts Council is accepting extension requests until Monday, November 18 for applicants who have been impacted by wildfires and power outages. All applications must be submitted by the final available extension date of Friday, November 22. More information on how to request an extension can be found here.
