Blue Star Museums free to military Memorial Day to Labor Day
More than 100 California museums will offer free admission this summer to active-military duty and their families, including National Guard and Reserve, beginning this Memorial Day weekend, running through Labor Day. Blue Star Museums is a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and museums across America. Click here for more details.
Creativity at the Core Summer Institute in San Diego
The California County Superintendents Educational Services Association (CCSESA) Arts Initiative is hosting a three-day summer institute on arts learning and California state standards, July 25-27 at the San Diego County Office of Education. Teachers, administrators, curriculum directors, artist educators, arts leaders, arts specialists, parents, and school board members are encouraged to attend.
