Wim Beullens is kind of elusive. When I Google searched him I couldn't find a place where I could buy his work, nevertheless, he is one of my all time favorite artists. His drawings are so incredibly structured. The anatomy and heroic bodies are beautiful!
Wim Beullens was born near Brussels and still live in a little industrial town called Vilvoorde. As a young boy he was rather shy and a bad football-player, but his sketches and drawings made up for being picked last during PE. At 16 he went to an art school in Brussels, where the teachers focused more on conceptual art. Afterwards he went to Antwerp where he received a firm training in life drawing and from then on the love for drawing people never left him.
