20th Annual Art for AIDS
INVITATION TO SUBMIT ART

Submission period open now through May!

ONLINE-ONLY
Call for Submissions
The Art for AIDS team wishes you a happy, healthy, productive and prosperous 2016. While it seems like yesterday we were reporting on the 2015 event success, as you know, it takes months to produce Art for AIDS. You are invited to support the 20th Annual Art for AIDS by submitting a piece for the jury's consideration. Our annual auction draws art collectors, gallerists, critics, and an enthusiastic, art-buying community to the glamorous City View at Metreon.

Our five jury sessions accommodate major art events and Open Studio dates.

Deadline for Jury 1: Art must be received by March 28
Deadline for Jury 2: Art must be received by April 8
Deadline for Jury 3: Art must be received by April 22
Deadline for Jury 4: Art must be received by May 6
Deadline for Jury 5: Art must be received by May 20

Submissions are by invitation only and all submissions are juried. The Art for AIDS jury, chaired by art critic DeWitt Cheng, is made up of gallery owners, artists, art collectors, and curators. The jury, listed on the left, will start reviewing submissions in April.

We encourage you to submit new, hang-ready, highly regarded work. These pieces generate the most bidding and are more likely to be selected for the Live Auction (limited to 22 pieces). Read our Call for Submissions for detailed information, and complete the online Submission Form. The jury reviews pieces that are framed and within our size guidelines first. The jury accepts about 170 pieces, so the earlier the piece is submitted the more likely it is to be accepted.

Selected work will be featured in the full color Art for AIDS catalog and on our website with links to your website. The event is widely promoted in print media and on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Contributing artists, galleries and donors receive a complimentary event ticket.

Questions? Please contact Jose Portillo, Lisa Roth or DK Haas.

Thank you for your support.
We look forward to welcoming you to Art for AIDS 2016!
