Remembering Susan
O’Malley
On Thursday afternoon, Art Center staff and friends gathered to remember and honor artist Susan O’Malley by reenacting a portion of her
Community Advice project which Susan created for our grand reopening exhibition,
Community Creates. We walked up and down Embarcadero Road and Newell Road, stapling Susan’s
It Will Be More Beautiful Than You Could Ever Imagine poster to
telephone poles and sharing memories of Susan. Other Bay Area arts
organizations and friends of Susan are similarly remembering her by
hanging the poster in and around their neighborhoods.
Keep an eye out for them, and if you see one, we hope it will brighten
your day.
