Get in Tune
by Building an Instrument
Love to make music with your family? Join
us on two Saturdays this month for a family instrument-building workshop
with visual artist and musician Claude Ferguson. Using our current
sound-based art exhibition,
Hear This!,
as the
point of inspiration, participants will make instruments such as
glovaphones, rainsticks, and drums, and end the workshop with a jam
session and drumming circle! Register
here.

NEW:
Adult Studios Drawing Workshops
Our Adult Studios program offers two new drawing workshops this spring:
The Practice of Drawing as Meditation and
Drawing Out and About. The Practice of Drawing as Meditation
will include exercises focused on increasing awareness, perception, and
observation. Interested in a more active drawing experience?
Drawing Out and About, a sketch-crawl class, will teach you to
draw people, places, and things quickly and confidently. Class starts at
the Art Center and then moves to a public location to practice drawing
outdoors. There is a small materials fee
for each workshop. Sign up now!
