New Museum Los Gatos will have 6000
ft2
dedicated to exhibits, 1000 ft2
for collection research and display, a 560 ft2
education lab, a conference room and a kitchen. And that’s just
the inside. The exterior will boast a sculpture garden, stage area for
performances and plenty of space to roam. This adds up to unlimited
possibilities for events, rentals and parties for
you and NUMU. And, of course, unlimited potential to be inspired.

We
must raise $250,000 to create NUMU. Thanks to
your generous support we are $106,605 closer to meeting our goal! Your
gift to this years’ annual fund will help bridge the gap, making it
possible to expand, design and build our new space. In addition, gifts
allow the development of new programming and interactive
updates to our permanent exhibits. Your 100% tax deductible
contribution will enable us to inspire our community with fresh, new
perspectives on history, art and the innovation of our times as we enter
our 50th Anniversary year. Help us to build a museum that
continually hits the refresh button.

We have just registered with
Benevity
which is a platform that major corporations use to match money donated
by their employees. If you are considering a donation to the museum at
this critical time for us and your company uses Benevity, your donation
dollars will be DOUBLE! Every little bit will
help us as we expand and grow and through Benevity every little bit
will be even more!

Our groundbreaking was a huge success, thank you to all that were able
to come out and support the New Museum Los Gatos.
It was great to have such a high level of community involvement. Thanks to photographer,
Grant
Atwell, there were many great moments captured, which you can see on our
Facebook!
This
is an exciting time to be a part of our Los Gatos Museums
family. As we bid a fond farewell to our two quaint and treasured
museums, we embrace a dynamic new space in the heart of our civic
center. New
Museum Los Gatos is
slated to open in Spring 2015 with three times more exhibition space,
allowing us to build a vibrant community hub for all ages, with fresh
perspectives on bay area history, art and the innovation of our times. NUMU.
Always something new.
