Flower Workshop: Pastel, Oil or Acrylics
Work from living flowers in oil or pastel to achieve the fresh vibrant color as well as the details that depict each type of flower. Special emphasis on how to utilize specific techniques in oil, pastel, or acrylic to solve the special problems that flowers present. Demonstration will be done by instructor at outset of workshop and individual assistance throughout the session.

Abstract
Painting
with Shilo
Ratner | All Levels
Explore the fundamentals of abstract
painting. Develop figurative, landscape, still life and abstract
expressionist techniques through classroom exercises. Build upon your
new understanding of abstract paintings unique visual language
while exploring form, color harmony and composition. Due to the fast
paced nature of this workshop demonstrations and classroom projects are
done with acrylic paint. However, adaptable techniques for oil paint
will be explained.

Have Your Artwork Professional Photographed
Have your original artwork professionally
photographed under calibrated lighting using a 24 MB camera, suitable
for Internet and print publication. The images are saved onto your USB
memory stick in the highest resolution DNG RAW
format as well as in a high-resolution JPEG format. Each session is one
hour and approximately 15 pieces of artwork can be photographed during
that time. Your artwork can be paintings, mixed media, pottery,
sculpture, jewelry or anything you can carry. Prints
made of your artwork on paper, canvas or metal are available at a
discount to attendees. Please bring at least a 4 GB USB flash drive to
hold the images, or purchase from instructor for $10.

Installation Art!
You will learn the process of creating
installation art, and discover a variety of ways for using different
materials in art! While exploring the inner self and unique ideas, learn
how to expand your own voice and artistic expression.
Stella will explain and demonstrate how to choose the best materials
for your artwork. Bring any materials, and Stella will help students
find a unique way to translate your ideas into works of art.
