George Eastman House will be at AAM in Baltimore this year! If you are planning to attend, please stop by corner
booth #541 to say hello!
Over the course of the 3-day Museum Expo, you
may enter a drawing to win one of three copies of our acclaimed
publication, now in it's fourth printing,
"Camera: A History of Photography from Daguerrotype to Digital"
written by our own technology curator, Todd Gustavson. This cornerstone
volume illuminates one of the world's largest collections of
photographic and cinematic equipment, which contains
more than 20,000 artifacts.
Also be sure to pick up some postcards or brochures that highlight our extensive
Traveling
Exhibitions program, now in its 61st
year! We are introducing four new exhibitions this year to an already
accessible and engaging selection, and welcome the opportunity to talk
with you about how our collections may enhance
your museum's unique mission and programming themes.
If you don't
know who we are or what we do (and even if you do) - we would love for
you to stop by. This video is the "story" of George Eastman House - an
inspiring introductory overview of the diverse
range of activities that take place here in our archive, conservation
labs, galleries, and National Historic Landmark house and gardens.
