It Gets Better Project

Thanks to supporters like you, we have not only sent positive messages of hope to LGBT youth all across the United States, but we now have 12 international affiliates and are collaborating with organizations that support the LGBT community on six continents! Today, we are launching an It Gets Better International webpage to help share the incredible programs and projects that are happening on a global level. The page can help connect you to our affiliates in Australia/New Zealand, Chile (Latin America), Denmark, Italy, Jamaica, Mexico, Paraguay, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. Our official affiliates are already having an impact with more to come. Here's some of the latest: In Portugal, a new magazine features our affiliate Tudo Vai Melhorar and addresses the issue of bullying. In Chile, our affiliate Todo Mejora is working with mental health specialists and government personnel to ensure that LGBT youth are properly cared for in government facilities.
