DANZA Y MÚSICA. Con CAJÓN, GUITARRA, CONGA, BAJO, y
CAJITA, PERCUSIÓN de todo tipo, y la presencia de grandes músicos de
esta tradición: Julio Cesar Baluarte, Carlos Medina Soto, Jose Luis
Aznaran Soto y Renato Soto. No te lo puedes perder!

This workshop
is a learning space
to sense color variations, textures, and the use of recyclables in
their master pieces. It nurtures curiosity and endless possibilities for
toddlers to communicate their thoughts and feelings. The workshop
includes circle time, motor-skills activities, art-crafts
project, story-time, and culture appreciation. Play, discover, meet
friends and learn Spanish!. Spanish fluency is not required; however
Spanish will be spoken 100% of the time. All children must be
accompanied by a participating adult. Limited to 10
toddlers.

MCCLA gallery department is proud to present
"Esperando la llegada del Alba". The exhibition is the result of a work with Bay Area residents representative of the Latino cultural diversity. It
addresses the question of community while nurturing the talent of
non-professional
participants and places them at the center of the creative process
based upon the cooperation between acclaimed international artists Moise
Touré and Francis Viet, local talent Kiazad Ehya, Tomo Saito, and the
non-professional performers who have participated
in the year-long adventure.

Whether you're expecting or you're a new mom, belly dance is a great way
to get exercise and have fun doing it. In this workshop, we'll explore
the fundamentals of belly dance with special modifications for women who
are expecting. We'll focus on strength and
flexibility and learn how to dance with a veil. With lively music and a
supportive atmosphere, this is a great workout suitable to all levels.
