The Irvine Foundation had a dilemma: how to stay relevant to
the majority of the public through the arts and arts funding. The Irvine
Foundation initiated the "Arts Innovation Fund," studied the results,
and published their findings this week.

Poster Design Contest Offers Tuition Prizes
The Art Institutes and Americans for the Arts Poster Design
Scholarship Competition challenges high school seniors and graduates to
create a poster design that best interprets the theme "You Can Create
Tomorrow." Grand prize winner received a tuition scholarship
to their favorite Art Institute campus.
PEN Literary Awards Accepting Submissions
Submissions are now open for the 2013 PEN Literary Awards. The program will present 17 awards in multiple genres.
Deadline for submissions and nominations is February 1, 2013.
