The University Art Gallery at California State University, East Bay is hosting a juried exhibition open to Bay Area college students, graduate and undergraduate.  We are now accepting entries until February 5th.  The call for entries, complete with all dates and details, can be found below.  A flier is also attached for ease of posting.

The University Art Gallery Presents:

Emerging Artists Exhibition

This juried exhibition is free to enter and open to current Bay Area college students, graduate and undergraduate, who work in a 2 dimensional format in any of the following art mediums: 

• Painting                    
• Mixed Media
• Printmaking                                   
• Collage
• Drawing                                   
• Alternative Process Photography

If you are interested in having your work considered for the exhibition, please email the following information to artgallery@csueastbay.edu by midnight, February 5, 2012.

•  Name, email, phone number, current school, major area of study, the title of each piece, dimensions, date created, and media used. 

• Attach small jpegs, no more than 900 pixels in any direction, and label the file:

lastname_firstname01.jpg                (For example: Smith_Robert01.jpg)

• Only one e-mail submission per student, however you can submit up to three works.

Notification will be sent via email no later than February 13th and will include all details and instructions for proper presentation and artwork delivery times.

Important Dates:

Deadline for entries:  February 5^th

Notification of acceptance:  February 13^th

Delivery dates:  February 23^rd, 24^th, 25^th

Opening reception:  Saturday, March 10^th, from 4-6pm.

Exhibition dates:  March 10 – April 14, 2012
