An Art Review on Shotgun-Review.com
I got a review that was originally meant for ArtWeek but is now on a website. It's really, I guess, the first "real" review I've ever gotten and I'm not sure if it's a good review. I'd love to hear what you have to say on it. Particularly the comments about my rendering of things.
First, whether a good or bad review, your work was seen. I have had a mix of good and bad on my writing over the last few decades and one thing I've learned is that there is no bad review. Any mention of someone's work publicly will open doors and allow for new opportunities.
The reviewer of your work I felt was thorough though a bit snobbish. He interpreted the pieces as he saw and felt them to be rather than for their artistic value.
The reviewers words "ludicrous profundity" that your works are a joke, thats how I took it, that people look at your works and laugh, and they don't take you seriously.

I, on the other hand love your work.
